Biography

Dr. Iwasan D. Kejawa is a Professor at the Miami Dade Colleges and Palm Beach State College. He was Faculty member at Broward College and Palm Beach County Schools District; Before that he was an Instructor at Life Skills Centers of Ohio. He was a Youth Development Professional at Children Place at Home Safe. He was also a Coordinator at Florida Atlantic University and a Senior Computer Operator at Florida Department of State.
He earned his Doctorate degree in Education from Nova Southeastern University, a master’s and bachelor degree from the City University of New York. He possesses a certificate in Project Management from University of Adelaide and completed post graduate credit hours in Management at New York Institute of Technology. Dr. Kejawa is also certified by the Association of Colleges and Universities Educators (ACUE). He has authored numerous books and articles in technology and education.
Dr. Kejawa believes in the ideology that knowledge is power, knowledge comes from learning and learning comes from trying; that "A mountain can be moved with many hands."
He instills in his students that they can all succeed by all means through perseverance and hard work. He provides a cognitive learning experience to his students. He always emphasizes the importance of education in life-the avenue to success and prosperity is education and hard work.
He enjoys reading, writing, research and problem solving. He also enjoys traveling, watching movies, football, basketball, running and golfing.
