Challenge Exams, Portfolios & Cashier Forms
More than 50 college courses can be awarded through the Career Pathways Articulation Agreement. Many only require successful completion of the designated high school coursework or verification of an eligible industry certification. However, the 16 courses listed below also require a challenge exam or portfolio review before college credit can be awarded.
For the complete portfolio process, visit the Prior Learning Assessment webpage.
How to Complete Your Assessment
- Print the appropriate cashier's form for the course you are requesting.
- Take the completed form to a PBSC Campus Cashier's Office and pay the $20 Career Pathways assessment fee.
- Follow the instructions for your course assessment.
Courses with One Assessment | One-part Review Cashier Form
For courses that require only one exam or a portfolio review, take your cashier's form and receipt to the designated PBSC Testing Center or academic department to complete the required assessment. If your course includes a separate assessment form, be sure to print that as well. Both forms are required to complete the assessment process.
