The Financial Aid Office staff is eager to assist you step-by-step with applying for financial aid. We understand how stressful the process can be and how many questions you may have on how financial aid works. For valuable insight on the different requirements for determining financial aid, view information on basic eligibility.

One of the first steps is to create an FSA ID which will give you and your parent access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems and can serve as your legal signature. Let’s get started by creating an FSA ID now. For more info, watch the Getting Acquainted with FSA ID video.

Enrollment Status

To determine how much Federal Pell you are eligible to receive, you must first know your enrollment status. To determine your enrollment status view the table below. You can then use the Pell calculator below to get an estimate on your Pell eligibility amount once you have your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and your current enrollment status.

  Full-time  Registered for 12 or more credits
  Three-quarter time  Registered within 9 - 11 credits
  Half-Time  Registered within 6 - 8 credits
  Less than Half-time  Registered for 5 or less credits

 

Federal Pell Grant

Can I receive a Pell Grant if I go to school year-round?

Use the Pell Grant Calculator to get your estimated Federal Pell amount. You will need your EFC and the number of credits you are currently or planning to register for.
