Associate in Arts (A.A.) Degree
The Associate in Arts transfer degree equals the first two years of a bachelor’s degree. By earning your A.A. degree at PBSC, you are guaranteed admission to one of Florida's public universities to complete your bachelor’s degree. You also may transfer to certain private institutions or PBSC bachelor's programs. Our A.A. degree advising track will help guide you in selecting general education and elective courses that fit your desired upper-division major and the requirements of your chosen transfer school. Always work with your PBSC academic advisor in making your final choices.

A.A. Degree - Business Tracks
Business Degrees & Certificates
At PBSC, you can choose from many business career pathways. Each certificate and degree is a stepping-stone, either to the job market or to the next level in your education.
Degrees:
- AS: Associate in Science degrees prepare you for skilled employment or transfer to PBSC’s bachelor's programs and possibly other institutions.
- BAS: Bachelor of Applied Science degrees give associate degree graduates the option to earn a career-focused bachelor’s degree.
Certificates:
- ATC: Advanced Technical Certificates offer specialty training in technical fields for people with degrees (associate and above).
- CCC: College Credit Certificates give you marketable skills as well as college credits that can transfer to an associate degree.
- CCP: Career Certificate Programs prepare you for high-skill, high-demand jobs.
Accounting
Accounting Technology - Associate in Science (A.S.) Degree
In this A.S. degree program, students learn accounting principles and practices, business tax rules, and financial analysis and reporting, while gaining hands-on experience with accounting and bookkeeping software. You'll be ready to work as a paraprofessional accountant, an assistant to a certified public accountant or as a full-charge bookkeeper with management duties.

Accounting Technology - College Credit Certificate (CCC)
Ready with the knowledge of how to organize and maintain accounting records and prepare financial reports, graduates of this CCC program will be excellent candidates for entry-level employment as accounting clerks or junior accountants. This program also serves to refresh skills for workforce re-entry or career advancement.
Credits earned in this CCC transfer to the A.S. degree in Accounting Technology.
Business Administration & Management
Business Administration and Management - Associate in Science (A.S.) Degree
Achieve the ultimate in career marketability with this customizable A.S. degree. The curriculum combines your concentration area courses with essential knowledge and skills in critical business areas, such as economics, operations, accounting and communications. This well-rounded business degree includes an optional internship and an independent research project. In addition to a career, graduates may pursue a bachelor’s degree in supervision and management at PBSC or possibly other institutions.

This CCC prepares students for entry-level employment by building knowledge and skills in planning, organizing and running a business.

This CCC increases entry-level job prospects through a focus on business fundamentals.

Program Overview
The Project Management CPP is for individuals who already have a bachelor's degree
(or higher) and want to gain project management expertise to further their careers.
It is offered in person or 100% online.
Project Management - Certificate of Professional Preparation (CPP)
Gain hands-on experience with every stage of the project life cycle — from initiating and planning to execution and closing. Learn and apply skills to manage risks, balance trade-offs, integrate AI tools, make project selections and tackle complex business challenges like cost estimation and scheduling. This program prepares you to take the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) exams.
Risk Management and Insurance Operations - College Credit Certificate (CCC)
Explore the dynamic world of insurance. Learn to assess risks, identify client needs and understand the critical role of insurance operations in protecting businesses and individuals. Life, Health and Variable Annuities Agent - Career Certificate Program (CCP)

Paralegal
Paralegal Studies - Associate in Science (A.S.) Degree
Paralegals support attorneys in the delivery of legal services by conducting legal research, gathering evidence, drafting legal documents and preparing for trial. Paralegals may not provide legal services directly to the public, except as permitted by law. In this A.S. degree program, you’ll learn about various types of law (business, real estate, immigration, etc.), court procedures, and legal writing and research. Elective courses in criminal and family law, among other topics, complete this program.

Supply Chain & Logistics
Global Logistics and Supply Chain Technology - Career Certificate Program (CCP)
This short-term CCP prepares students to work in transportation, distribution and logistics operations, including ports, carriers, distribution warehouses and third-party logistics firms. Students graduate with an understanding of global logistics and supply chain technology, transportation systems, warehouse operations and the principles of economics to solve supply chain problems.
Logistics and Transportation Specialist - College Credit Certificate (CCC)
This College Credit Certificate program gets students ready to handle a range of responsibilities that impact supply chain performance. Students gain marketable skills in logistics information systems, materials and inventory planning, transportation and distribution, and managing the supply chain from raw materials to delivered products.
All credits from this CCC transfer into Palm Beach State’s A.S. degree in Supply Chain Management.

Supply chain professionals have become indispensable, and this A.S. degree prepares you to add value to any organization’s supply chain. Students

practical applications of supply chain modeling, financial accounting and economics.
