Location
The PBSC Invitational will be held on the Lake Worth Campus, 4200 Congress Avenue, Lake Worth, FL 33461.
The challenges will take place at various times at the campus’s Public Safety Training Center except for one competition that will be in the City of Lake Worth Beach, which is partnering with PBSC to host the event.
Competitors and spectators should make their way towards the Public Safety Training Center on the east side of the campus. All competitors should check in at PSD 108.
TRAFFIC NOTE: Sixth Avenue will be closed from Grove Street (just east of the Lake Osborne Church) to Congress Avenue for bridge replacement work. Please plan to use other routes to the campus. East and west bound traffic will be detoured via S. Congress Avenue, Lake Worth Road (S.R. 802)/Lake Ave/Lucerne Ave and S. Dixie Highway (U.S. 1). Access to Interstate 95 north of 6th Avenue South will be detoured via S. Congress Avenue and 10th Avenue North. Access to Interstate 95 south of 5th Avenue South will be detoured via S. Congress Avenue and Lantana Road. The 5th Avenue South Interstate 95 ramps will remain open, and traffic east of Interstate 95 will remain unaffected.
Parking
Visitors to campus should utilize the BLUE PARKING LOT during the PBSC Invitational.
Reserved parking areas (yellow parking blocks) are for faculty and staff only. Parking in a space marked "Reserved" could result in a citation.
There are paid parking options on the beach property for the RIT competition.
Spectator Information
Come out and cheer on your local heroes! There will be food, demos and sponsor merchandise booths for you to enjoy. South Florida can be hot in May so stay hydrated and bring your sunscreen. Make sure to take lots of photos, tagging #PBSCInvitational, and most importantly, have fun! Greeters will be outside to assist spectators, as well as in the lobby of the complex’s conference center (PSD building).
