The Palm Beach State College – Gardens Campus Art Department encourages the college community to create unique and captivating work inspired by today’s social issues such as; Banned & Challenged Books (list below), Artificial Intelligence: Benefit or Chaos to our Future, Truths: visual or spoken, or Technology and Nature. Let your creativity take over!

The Helen M Salzberg Gallery will host a POP-UP EXHIBIT during the week of This We Believe Conference, February 5- 9, 2024. The Helen M Salzberg Gallery is a community space within the college that fosters conversations between members of the college and the community. It is a space of growth and dialogue. (Gallery is located in The Gardens Campus BB building room 113 -1st floor)

Exhibit Information

Exhibition dates:  Monday, February 5 – Friday, February 9, 2024.

Opening night: Tuesday, February 6, 5:30 pm BB 113 Helen M Salzberg Gallery

Accepted Work All mediums and genres considered. (Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Sculpture, Glass, Fiber, Functional, Digital, Photography, Installation, Mixed Media and New Genres.)

Size for 2D work Minimum 8x8 inches Maximum 40x40 inches

Open submission: November 15, 2023.

Deadline for submissions: Jan 17, 2024.

Notification of acceptance via email on Jan 20, 2024. Entries will be juried by a panel of faculty, staff, and students. (If student/ faculty or staff is serving as a juror, work cannot be entered)

Submission information

• Works must be ready to hang
• All works submitted in form (google form link below) must be named: JPG
• Wire required on the back of all canvases or framed work.
• Works must contain a label with Name, Phone, email, title of work and dimensions.
• Work must be dropped off and picked up. No shipping allowed
• Any work not delivered between specified times, will not be hung for exhibition.
• All work must be delivered on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Helen M Salzberg Gallery BB 113 building in Gardens Campus between 10:30 – 12:00 pm.
• Work must be picked up by Saturday, February 10, between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm.
