The Division of Student Development shares the vision of the College by sharing an unprecedented commitment to access and equitable support to facilitate successful completion for all students through strong partnerships with the college community, the school district, and external organizations.

We strive to:

  1. Improve access to higher education.
  2. Foster holistic development for all students.
  3. Facilitate successful completion through equitable measures.


Who We are

The Division of Student Development focuses on the holistic needs of student. Through our values, programs and services, we endeavor to support all students from access to completion. 

We value highly a commitment to ensuring all students have equitable access to higher education regardless of their economic, social, ethnic standing or disability.

We also place a high value on ensuring persistence through case management, accessibility to counseling, specific resources for students with disabilities, sharing food resources and scholarship support. Our services are embedded within our 4 major departments college wide: Counseling, TRiO, The Center for Student Accessibility (CSA) and Title V Pathways to Success grant.

Center for Student Accessibility

If you are a student with a disability that impacts your success in the classroom, this web site is designed to inform you about the basic services offered by this department.

Our staff is dedicated to the mission of serving our students.


The Ombudsman is a student advocate. The Ombudsman respectfully listens to each student’s concerns and assists them in evaluating a situation from all perspectives.

Students experiencing issues, complaints or disputes may begin their process for an informal resolution with the Office of the Ombudsman.


Our nation has asserted a commitment to providing educational opportunity for all Americans regardless of race, ethnic background or economic circumstance.

In support of this commitment, Congress established a series of programs to help low-income Americans enter college, graduate and move on to participate more fully in America's economic and social life.
