IEECE purchases Frog Street curriculum for Conscious Discipline pilot sites

In the quest to best support our pilot centers with Conscious Discipline®, IEECE started a search to find a curriculum that fully encompasses social-emotional learning and best practices in pre-academics in early childhood curriculum. The Frog Street curriculum program does just that. Frog Street is an integrated research-based program that connects instruction across developmental domains and early learning disciplines. It is the only curriculum that integrates Conscious Discipline® strategies to support social and emotional learning in daily instruction while also targeting math, science, language, literacy and multiculturalism. Frog Street provides foundational support for teachers to learn the components of developmentally appropriate practices and strategies to embed cognitive and social-emotional learning within the classroom’s daily routine. This professional development prepares teachers to be successful in their teaching practices and supports children ready and eager to learn as they enter formal education. The purchase of this curriculum was made possible through the generous support of the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County.
