TradeUP!

Scholarships for Caribbean Students

The TradeUP! Fund has established a scholarship program for students residing in the Caribbean. Palm Beach State College is the chosen educational partner, offering an extensive range of accredited online trade and technical courses which accommodate and benefit overseas students.

Scholarship recipients are chosen by the Ministry of Education in the respective islands. Local businesses and civic organizations are encouraged to mentor students, donate ancillary expenses as needed and offer internships and full time employment upon graduation. An initial emphasis on the hospitality industry is served well by two PBSC programs: Hospitality and Tourism Management (AS degree) and Hospitality (Certificate).

PBSC hospitality

TradeUP! funds this scholarship initiative with profits from regional sales and donations from corporate companies who financially benefit from their business activities in the Caribbean. The Caribbean diaspora is also invited to help these students by generously providing contributions.

By investing in the education of these students, we help them reach their goals, ensure their futures and impact the communities in which they live. Online curriculum can be viewed at PBSC's Pathway Tracks.

Jeffrey Firestone, the CEO & Founder of the Firestone Group Inc. and ChariTEES.org, is proud to introduce this vital initiative that serves students who seek higher education with Palm Beach State from their Caribbean residence.
