Honors College Faculty Certification

We welcome faculty who are interested in teaching a honors course to contact the Honors College to learn more about becoming a member of the Honors College Faculty.

Faculty who are interested in becoming a part of the Honors College Faculty, must attend the required Honors College Faculty Certification Seminar coordinated and facilitated by the Honors College.  The two-part seminar is typically offered in September and February.

In addition to participating in the seminar, participants will be required to create and submit a course Implementation Plan for approval.

The following are criteria to be invited to participate in the Honors College Faculty Certification Seminar:

  • Faculty at Palm Beach State
  • Recommended by Dean or Associate Dean of Academic Affairs OR recommended by the Honors College Director
  • Have taught the interested course for at least one full academic year
