Research and Surveys Requests

PBSC programs and departments wanting to administer research and surveys in support of program and educational review processes and continuous improvement initiatives should email the  IRE Office. 

We reserve the right to approve, deny, make recommendations, and schedule surveys to maximize the value of research projects, eliminate redundancy and competition with planned college research, and reduce survey fatigue given volume of projects scheduled. Every attempt will be made to accommodate your needs and integrate them with planned projects.

We will ask that you complete a short application to help us understand the nature of the proposed project and determine exempt/non-exempt status to adhere to data governance, security, and Institutional Research Board (IRB) protecting human subjects guidelines.

All research efforts require a focus on being data-informed to make better decisions and advance strategic effectiveness and student success.

We need a collaborative and aligned effort to facilitate a successful college-wide program of institutional research.
