Navigate Resource Center for Faculty & Staff

 

Navigate Student allows students to set-up meetings with advisors & tutors, create to-do lists and view alerts that will help keep them on track throughout your educational journey. This page contains job aids and videos to help you successfully use the platform.

A: To log in to Navigate, click here. Navigate uses the PBSC login system, so be sure to use your PBSC e-mail address and password.

A: Data in Navigate is pulled from Workday nightly. Any changes to a student’s record in Workday will be reflected in Navigate the following day.

A: No, students only access Navigate through the Navigate Student App on their phones or the platform desktop version. The Navigate Student App provides a different set of functions, such as scheduling appointments, access to their Academic Planner, and campus resource information, to name a few.

A: Yes, student notes in Workday are part of a student’s educational record and subject to FERPA.

A: Navigate identifies different “roles” within the tool, which depend on your job responsibilities. If you are interested in how these roles are determined, please e-mail navigate@palmbeachstate.edu

A: Yes, there are various scheduled trainings throughout the year facilitated by the Navigate Application Administrator. Additionally, there are a variety of resources and guides on the site for users to review. The Navigate Help Center is also a great resource for tips and tutorials –click on the “?” in the top right corner when you’re logged into the platform.
