  • Dr. Watson received his PhD from the University of Illinois  ( Entomology) , His BS was in Biology and Chemistry and his MS was in Zoology ( Mosquito ecology) 
  • He has been a tenured professor, department head, researcher, teaching abroad leader, forensic science program head and academic advisor to BS, MSc and PhD students in his 40 years experiences. 

  • He hold Professor Emeriti status at Ferris State University, Big Rapids Michigan where he taught for 30 years 

  • His last position before PBSC was Chair Biological Sciences at Qatar University in Doha Qatar where he is still an advisor to PhD students. 
  • He has taught ecological, entomological, forensic and general biology courses
  • His research interest is ecology and diversity of insects in various biomes of the world and forensic entomology.

  • He has visited and / or conducted research in over 50 foreign countries
  • He has received 2 Senior Fulbright Fellowships
  •  He has been employed as a professor and researcher at 3 foreign universities for periods of 1 to 4 years (University of Botswana, Gabarone Botswana: Ang Giang University , Long Xuyen Vietnam and Qatar University, Doha Qatar).
  • He has recently relocated to Jupiter Florida and is now teaching at PBSC.
