Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE)

The Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) is a faculty-led, physical and virtual initiative supporting collaboration in discovering, sharing, and creating innovative practice to advance all students' success while empowering faculty to achieve their teaching goals.

We envision an excited, engaged faculty community where all faculty members can reach their full potential.

  • The organizational structure of the CTLE will reflect an institutional commitment to educational development, teaching, and student learning.
  • The CTLE will develop evidence-based, mission-aligned programming, based upon instructor, student, campus, and college needs.
  • - The Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) will be a hub of inspiration, innovation, scholarly activity, and lifelong learning, resulting in success for all students.

Student Focus Group & Panel

These events are held for faculty to listen to students' challenges and successes. These events host groups of students to identify and explore challenges and obstacles they face. Information gained in student focus groups and panels will help to inform faculty of effective teaching practices, and will also inform the CTLE of contents and needs for future programming.
