PERC MISSION
To improve the retention, persistence, and graduation rates of financially unstable first generation, low-income students, primarily at the Lake Worth and Belle Glade campuses. Students experiencing difficulties that include, but are not limited to: food insecurity, homelessness, debt, and transportation problems through simplified access to community resources and personalized financial planning. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) offers nutrition assistance to millions of eligible, low-income individuals and families and provides economic benefits to communities. More information
HOMELESS STUDENT SERVICES
Local resources are available both on and off campus or in the Palm Beach County community to help students facing homelessness with basic necessities.

LEGAL ASSISTANCE
Disability claims, tax controversies, unemployment benefit denials, housing issues, discrimination issues, food stamp denials, consumer issues and other legal issues. Referrals to legal counseling available at no cost!

GLOBAL EDUCATION
Our goal is to assist immigrants who register with the center to:
- Provide information about educational programs or courses to learn English.
- Provide referrals to community services and programs in Palm Beach County.
- Design workshops that enable you to learn more about the U.S. culture.
DENTAL HEALTH
Palm Beach State College Dental Hygiene Care Center is a teaching facility in which students enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program provide preventive dental care to the community.
The Dental Hygiene Care Center is a state of the art clinical facility, located on the Lake Worth campus.
