Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Sustainability announced the availability of Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus funds (CDBG-CV) to provide financial assistance to income eligible households, impacted by COVID19, who are delinquent in their first mortgage and escrow payments (PITI). Additionally, funding may assist with second mortgages, late fees, condominium and homeowners' association payments, special assessments, and other mortgage associated costs related to COVID-19.

To improve the retention, persistence, and graduation rates of financially unstable first generation, low-income students, primarily at the Lake Worth and Belle Glade campuses. Students experiencing difficulties that include, but are not limited to: food insecurity, homelessness, debt, and transportation problems through simplified access to community resources and personalized financial planning.
