Getting the Interview

This event is for students who tend to feel nervous during an interview. There will be tips on how to overcome those fears and on the appropriate attire that may be needed for an interview.

Getting the Job

To find a job that fits your interests is sometimes difficult, but with our Getting The Job event students are able to learn exactly how to do it. Learn about Handshake and other websites that help students in finding a job. This event not only leaves you educated on jobs but will also leave you more confident in how to job search.

Exploring Majors and Careers

Designed to help students learn about majors and careers and the steps involved in choosing a major. Students will learn about the degrees and majors offered at PBSC. 

  • A brief interest inventory will be administered for students to begin exploring majors related to their career interests.
  • Resources to explore majors and research occupations will be presented.

This career fair provides students an opportunity to network with employers and learn about internships, part-time and full-time positions in various industries. Please RSVP in Handshake ahead of time so that you don’t miss out on pertinent information regarding the event!

We strongly encourage you to come in business dress when you attend the fair, and you'll also want to bring multiple copies of your resume with you. If you need any help polishing your resume or creating one, please stop by the Career Center. We have walk-in advising or you can call 561-862-4325 to schedule an appointment. 

Keep in mind, you'll want to research the organizations attending the fair so that you are equipped to have impactful conversations with employers. Please know your class schedule and availability, should any employers speak with you about opportunities. 

Lastly, don't forget to bring a notepad and a pen to jot down your notes!
