PBSC’s Veterans Services department hosts or participates in many events throughout the year. Examples include:

  • Dolphin Experience
  • Veterans Day and Memorial Day Events
  • Camping Trips
  • IBIS Friends of Veterans Golf Tournament

 GRADUATE RECOGNITION

The Graduation Coin and the Red, White and Blue Cord are to recognize veterans for their service to our country and the accomplishment of graduating from Palm Beach State College.  This is another way Palm Beach State thanks its new alumni veterans, dependents and military service members for their service.

 WORK-STUDY PROGRAM

The VA Work-Study program is an opportunity for student veterans to maintain part-time employment while pursuing their college education. Students act as liaisons between the VA, Palm Beach State College and veterans in pursuit of their education.

 MENTORSHIPS

The Panther Veterans Mentor Program pairs second-year student veterans with newly enrolled student veterans. The mentors offer support, study strategies and guidance on taking advantage of PBSC resources, services and enrichment opportunities.
